Imperial War Museum
A museum devoted to telling the story of conflict and the experiences of warfare. The main museum is located in London, but there are also branches at Duxford in Cambridgeshire, Whitehall, Manchester, and on the HMS Belfast in London Pool.
Lincolnshire Military Preservation Society
A World War II re-enactment group based on the East Coast of the UK. There are details of events, as well as the unit histories and information about their equipment, weapons and uniforms.

National Waterways Museum
An organisation which operates museums in Stoke Bruerne in Northamptonshire, Gloucester Docks, and Ellesmere Port in Cheshire. Includes information about their historic boats and inland waterways collections.

York Archaeological Trust
An organisation dedicated to the excavation of historic York, as well as offering training digs and providing educational resources. Projects include the Jorvik Viking Centre, Hungate, Barley Hall and the city walls.
