ApComms
A group of MPs and parliamentarians concerned with issues that affect the industries of new media and communications. They meet to discuss internet issues that affect society, and to hold meetings and produce relevant reports.

Campaign Against Arms Trade
Opposes the arms trade and campaigns to end government subsidies for arms exports, to end exports to oppressive regimes or regions in conflict, and to support measures which will regulate and reduce the arms trade.

Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament
A group which lobbies for the abolition of nuclear weapons and other weapons of mass destruction.

Corporate Watch
Examining the activities of large corporations, and their ethical standing. Includes company profiles, news and articles, focusing mainly on the social, political and environmental impact of these corporations.

Crime Forums
A forum for the discussion of all kinds of violence and crimes that are happening on the street. There are sub-forums for specific types of crimes committed in the UK.

Democracy Movement
A non-party campaign to defend liberal democracy by opposing the single currency and the drive to centralise European government through the European Union.

Internet Rights
News, policy documents and information on legislation and issues regarding civil rights with regard to the internet. It covers such issues as censorship, computer crime, terrorism, privacy, consumer protection, intellectual property and defamation laws.

National Anti-Vivisection Society
An organisation which campaigns against the use of animals in experiments.

Campaigns against user profiling and privacy violations by internet service providers. Includes details of protests, petition graphics, and a forum.

An independent national organisation set established to campaign for improved services in publicly funded libraries and to support Friends of Library groups. There are details of local groups and current campaigns.
